Healing Action Network fosters safety, healing, and recovery with survivors of trafficking & exploitation. We fulfill our mission through three distinct programs.
- Center for Survivors – We provide trauma recovery services that include intensive service management, trauma therapy, individual and group peer support services, drop-in support center, and psychoeducation & trauma groups, and housing to adults who have experienced all forms of sexual exploitation including, but not limited to, sex trafficking, prostitution, stripping, escorting, pornography, and survival sex.
- Coalition Against Trafficking & Exploitation (CATE) – CATE is a statewide coalition to prevent and respond to human trafficking and exploitation. Primary activities include workgroups, policy advocacy, research & data collection, and standards of care.
- Volunteer Service Link – Program is designed to build the capacity of our community partners, increase identification of human trafficking victims, develop efficient data collection methods, and develop a diverse pool of trafficking trained community members across Missouri. We connect volunteers to Missouri victim service organizations. Volunteers can choose from a variety of organizations across the state to gain skills, build relationships, and build a stronger safety net for survivors.
Position Overview
The Quality & Impact Specialist ensures the agency’s programs meet funder and regulatory requirements while promoting excellence in program design, implementation, evaluation, and impact reporting. This position collaborates with across services, advancing evidence-based practices, outcome measurement, data analysis, and grant reporting processes to strengthen our programmatic operations and community outcomes. This role may include supervision of students or AmeriCorps members but does not involve direct supervision of employees.

- Have earned a master’s in social work, nonprofit administration, Public health, or a related field, OR equivalent experience in a similar role.
- Can demonstrate 3+ Years of proven experience of program design, evaluation, and/or compliance within victim services programming.
- Strong project management, record keeping, data management capabilities, and ability to coordinate across departments.
- Knowledge of trauma informed theories and practices, preferably related to human trafficking.
- Model a rights-based, harm reduction, and social justice framework.
- Are flexible, creative, and are not afraid of growth & change.
What You’ll Do…
Compliance & Evaluation
- Manage legal, certification, and grant compliance across programs.
- Develop and monitor program goals and benchmarks aligned with funder and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular policy and procedure reviews to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives to maintain fidelity to best practices and grant deliverables.
- Analyze awarded grants, contracts, and agreements for compliance and prepare necessary documentation.
- Prepare reports, studies, and analyses to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Program Development and Grant Support
- Assist leadership with multi-year grant proposals, contracts, and budgets.
- Collaborate on new program design and implementation to meet emerging community needs.
- Promote effective resource utilization by contributing to budget development and management.
- Support grant writing and participate in occasional donor and board engagement.
Data Management and Reporting
- Maintain data systems to ensure efficient and accurate reporting of program activities and outcomes.
- Pull regular progress reports to monitor benchmarks and identify trends.
- Oversee data collection, analysis, and publication of findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure data systems are effectively utilized by service staff and provide training as needed.
