Young Professionals Against Human Trafficking

Young Professionals Against Human Trafficking (YPAHT) plays a vital role in advancing the mission of Healing Action Network: Fostering Safety, Healing, and Recovery with Survivors of Trafficking and Exploitation.

YPAHT supports this mission by:

• Raising public awareness and educating the community about the realities and risks of human trafficking and exploitation.

• Generating essential funding to support anti-trafficking initiatives.

• Cultivating a network of engaged advocates committed to building a world free from exploitation.

The members of YPAHT, ages 21-40, serve as agency ambassadors. The group is committed to creating new opportunities for young professionals to serve as leaders in the community.

Why join YPAHT?

As a member of YPAHT, you will work for a cause that impacts the entire St. Louis community–creating a community free from exploitation. Help raise consciousness around abuse and also increase funding for critical mission work. Participate in YPAHT-hosted events throughout the year, including Trivia Night, Healing Night Out, awareness events, networking opportunities, and more. Additionally, directly support clients served by Healing Action Network, including adults of all genders who use our services each year.

What are some ways to get involved?

We are always looking for dynamic individuals to connect with us. Help us contribute to Healing Actions Networks’ mission by joining a committee! At this time, we have three YPAHT committees:

Fundraising Committee
The Fundraising Committee oversees and executes what could be YPAHT’s biggest annual event, Trivia Night, as well as planning smaller fundraising events and researching new opportunities to raise funds.

Membership Engagement Committee
The Membership Engagement Committee is responsible for recruiting and retaining YPAHT members and identifying potential YPAHT members. The committee also hosts monthly welcome meetings about Healing Action Networks’ work as well as fun service activities like letter writing and donation drives.

Social Marketing Committee
The Social Marketing Committee in collaboration with the Advancement Department oversees and executes the marketing of all YPAHT events, in addition to crowdfunding campaigns, and also promotes general membership through e-newsletters and the YPAHT Facebook page.
